Royal IHC said on Friday that “in response to the economic situation and the need for cutbacks”, the executive board is being reduced to two members - chief executive Dave Vander Heyde and chief financial officer Arie Vergunst.
The company’s board currently has three members, including Alexander van Noort as chief operating officer.
An IHC spokesperson confirmed to Upstream that Van Noort is leaving the company and the position of chief operating officer is being scrapped.
