Wintershall chief executive Mario Mehren believes there are no winners in the sanctions-led standoff between Moscow and the West, but reaffirmed the Germany player’s commitment to doing business in Russia.
“From my perspective, there are only losers in the sanctions game,” Mehren said at the World Gas Conference in Paris on Tuesday.
“I cannot see any benefit from having these sanctions. I am not very optimistic that we will see any quick shift there (and) that these sanctions will be lifted.
