The S-374 well was drilled to a depth of 2640 metres to evaluate the southernmost lobe of the field, about 10 kilometres from existing wells.
PetroNeft said two tight sandstone reservoirs were intersected with a total net pay of 3.6 metres but a cased-hole drill stem test only resulted in 6.3 barrels per day of mineralised water with no indications of hydrocarbons.
