The company spun the bit on the Lagia 11 well on Friday, targeting the main producing reservoir of the Nukhul formation.
All the other wells in the second phase development – Lagia 12, 13, 14 and 15 – will target the same formation.
Phase two will also include the installation and commissioning of steam facilities for thermal recovery at the wells, a process used already at the existing producing wells.
