The company’s subsidiary Mena International will install steam facilities for thermal recovery on existing production wells and drill a minimum of five additional thermal wells to further boost oil recovery and production from the field.
Mena aims to boost field output to 1000 barrels per day through fast-tracking development work.
Commissioning and operational testing of a new steam generator is currently under way with full-scale steaming expected to start by the end of September.
