It follows load-out onto transportation barge STB-1 of the 13,500-tonne jacket for the production and risers platform being built by the BOS Shelf, Star Gulf and Saipem consortium.
The jacket is now en route to the Shah Deniz contract area in the Caspian Sea where piles are being installed ready for installation of the jacket in a water depth of 94 metres, with the entire operation including transport estimated to take 40 days.
