The engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract was announced on Thursday along with new contracts and variation orders worth a combined €1.5 billion ($1.7 billion).
The work scope for the Zohr contract includes the installation of a 26-inch gas export trunkline, along with 14-inch and eight-inch service trunklines.
It also covers EPCI work in deep-water for six wells and the installation of the field’s umbilical system.
