Saipem says South Stream contract 'suspended'

Italian services company Saipem said it has received a notice to suspend marine activities for Gazprom's multi-billion dollar South Stream pipeline project, which Russian President Vladimir Putin suddenly nixed this week due to resistance from Europe.
