The company generated A$835 million (US$ 648.6 million) during the first quarter of the year, up slightly on the A$825 million booked during the first three months of 2015.

Helping boost revenue was a 40% jump in sales volumes, to 21.3 million barrels of oil equivalent, thanks partly to the start up of the Gladstone liquefied natural gas (GLNG) project in Queensland in September last year.
