The Brisbane-headquartered player started production from Train 1 at the liquefied natural gas plant on Curtis Island off Queensland at the end of last year, with an initial shipment to South Korea.
Vice president of downstream Rod Duke said during a GLNG project presentation at LNG 18 in Perth on Friday: “We are very confident that we will produce our first LNG from Train 2 before the middle of this year.”
