Well partner Drillsearch Energy revealed Thursday the Washington-1 well in PEL 570 had reached a depth of 3660 metres and encountered elevated gas shows across the Toolachee, Epsilon and Patchawarra formations.
It added the shows were encountered in both sandstones and Permian source rocks at depths between 3241 and 3660 metres.
