The Sapura Diamante, the first of six units to be delivered by the 50:50 joint venture Sapura Navegacao, began operations more than three months ahead of its original delivery date after arriving in Brazilian waters on Saturday.
The 550-tonne Sapura Diamante PLSV was finished on 27 May at IHC Merwede’s Krimpen aan den Ijssel shipyard in the Netherlands and begins an eight-year deal with Petrobras.
