The company said the field development plan for its B15 gas project in Block SK 310 had received the approval of national oil company Petronas.
The B15 development will comprise a central processing platform with a 35-kilometre gas pipeline to be tied into existing infrastructure.
The field is expected to produce 100 million cubic feet per day of gas for Petronas' LNG complex in Bintulu, Sarawak, with the first gas delivery currently targeted for the fourth quarter of 2017.
