Several sources close to the tender process told Upstream that they have recently received tender documents from the Saudi state-owned giant for the further development of its giant Safaniyah oilfield and bids are due to be submitted by next month.
“We have just received the tender document for the new Safaniyah development project and the bid submission deadline is 18 February,” a source from one of the interested contractors said.
