Through its subsidiary Scana Steel Stavanger, the company was awarded a new contract from Samsung Heavy Industries for the delivery of about 60 steel casting components to form part of the project’s mooring system.
Scana said the deal was worth Nkr36 million ($6.1 million), bringing the total value of orders it has received from Samsung for the Ichthys project to Nkr93 million.
