Separation specialist Enviro Voraxial Technology has signed a deal with Schlumberger to sell intellectual property and patented technology to the oilfield services giant.
The "comprehensive agreement", which is expected to close within three months, includes the Florida-based company's Voraxial Separator patents and trademarks.
The Voraxial Separator is an in-line "turbo-separator" that can handle large volumes of solids and liquids with different specific gravities, without the need of a pressure drop.
