Well partner 3D Oil revealed on Tuesday the drilling of the Sea Lion-1 well in Vic/P57 was now not expected to start until mid-September.
3D Oil said the delay had been caused by adverse weather and sea conditions in the Bass Strait which had prevented the release of the jack-up West Telesto from its current assignment with Origin Energy at the Yolla gas field.
