SembMarine revealed on Tuesday that Marco Polo had applied to stay the action commenced by PPL in the High Court in favour of arbitration and it was notified on 22 April the court had granted the stay of action.
The pair commenced arbitration proceedings against one another earlier this month after being unable to resolve a contract dispute which saw Marco Polo subsidiary Marco Polo Drilling cancel a contract for a jack-up last year.
