SembMarine said Monday the rig, which began construction in 2014, was delivered on time and with a safety record of zero near-misses and reportable cases.
The delivery of the rig comes just days after it had been revealed Maersk had bought the rig from struggling Houston-based company Hercules Offshore.
Maersk Drilling swooped in to buy the rig last week after Hercules had been unable to pay final installments for the rig which cost $236 million to build.
