SembMarine will design and build the floating storage and offloading unit for the high-pressure, high-temperature field development.
Delivery of the unit, which will have a capacity of 25,000 barrels of condensate per day and storage capacity of 350,000 barrels, is set for the first quarter of 2018.
SembMarine did not put a value on the award, which is the first time the Singaporean builder will build an FSO on a full turnkey basis, including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
