The Senate committee is examining the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of the proposed exploration campaign and potential future production in the frontier area off the coast of South Australia.
This also includes looking at the effect a potential drilling accident could have on marine and coastal ecosystems, as well as social and economic impacts, including effects on tourism and commercial fishing activities.
