Senex generated A$18.1 million (US$12.5 million) over the three months to 31 December, down 36% on the A$28.2 million generated over the same period during 2014.
Hitting revenues was a fall in the average realised oil price, from A$81 per barrel a year ago, to A$70 per barrel in the recent quarter.
Adding to the pain of low oil prices was a 28% drop in production year-on-year, from roughly 360,000 barrels of oil equivalent to about 280,000 boe, largely due to natural field decline.
