Senex revealed Wednesday it had received A$42 million (US$30.3 million) in cash and a comprehensive suite of subsurface, production and other technical data from Santos in exchange for its interest in the Maisey Block in ATP 889 in Queensland.
The pair originally struck the deal in September at the same time they also signed a gas sales agreement which will see Senex supply Santos' Gladstone liquefied natural gas (GLNG) project with up to 50 terajoules per day of gas from its planned Western Surat gas project over a 20-year period.
