Aker disclosed this week it had secured a deal from Lundin for study work on a floating production, storage and offloading vessel for the frontier Arctic field project under feasibility studies being carried out by a number of players for both topside and subsea installations on the planned field development.
The Oslo-listed contractor earlier this year won a conceptual study for a ship-shaped FPSO for the Johan Castberg project, located to the north-west of Alta-Gohta in the southern Barents.
