"It's north of 600 (million barrels of oil equivalent) total gross," Bill Henry, Shell’s vice president of upstream development, said on the sidelines of OTC in Houston. "The exploration appraisal campaign is complete on Appomattox and we are into the final design phase on that project."
The Anglo-Dutch supermajor initially believed Appomattox could hold a little more than 500 MMboe after it was discovered in 2010.
