Shell is more than 50% done with fabrication of its Appomattox facility and just took delivery of some key equipment as it remains on track for first oil from the deep-water US Gulf of Mexico project by the end of the decade.

Gas compression modules for the facility recently arrived at Kiewit Offshore Services' yard in Ingleside, Texas, where the semi-submersible behemoth's topsides are under construction.
