Shell has booked $250 million of divestment cash after offloading an aviation fuels business in Australia.
The Anglo-Dutch supermajor has sold Shell Aviation Australia to Viva Energy Australia, with the deal set to be completed in mid-2017.
The Shell brand will still be visible in the aviation refuelling network in the country due to a trademark licensing agreement, however, while the company’s upstream activities in Australia are unaffected by the deal.
