Shell has declared its second force majeure in Nigeria this week after another operator shut in a pipeline after the discovery of a leak.
Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) said the force majeure call on Bonny Light liftings became effective at 10am local time on Friday.
This follows the shutdown of the Nembe Creek Trunk Line (NCTL) by operator Aiteo following a leak, the extent of which was not mentioned by the SPDC spokesman.
