Shell is continuing its cost-cutting drive in the UK, with more jobs set to be lost following the expected closure of a finance unit in Scotland.
The Anglo-Dutch supermajor has informed staff at its Bothwell Street finance operations office in Glasgow that the office is to be closed.
The office will be closed over the next 15 months, with activities to be moves to “our other locations in our global Shell Business Operations network,” a statement read.
