The Anglo-Dutch supermajor surrendered its holding in the Malaysia liquefied natural gas (MLNG) Dua facilities off Sarawak to Petronas unit Petronas Carigali that the European player had until now operated under a PSC.
Shell has been preparing for the handover for some time, having been notified last year that the PSC would not be renewed, with the state to take over operatorship.
