Block partner Ambassador Oil & Gas told the Australian Securities Exchange that the MB Century 3 drilling rig was scheduled to spud the Shocking 1 oil exploration well in the week starting 11 June.
Ambassador will pay all Shocking 1 well drilling costs to earn a 60% interest in the Senex-operated block, with the well targeting conventional oil in the producing Murta, McKinlay, Mid-Namur, Basal Birkhead and Hutton formations.
