Sino said on Monday that gas production had started through the Sanjiaobei central gathering station from both the Linxing and Sanjiaobei pilot wells.
The company is currently flowing gas at a constrained rate of about 3.5 million cubic feet per day from a pool of 16 wells and plans to ramp up production to 8 MMcfd next year.
It added that the 17 MMcfd Linxing central gathering station was on track to be commissioned by mid-2015, which would bring the total pilot programme capacity to about 25 MMcfd.
