The Chinese giant’s exploration and production (E&P) wing ran up an operating loss in the first three quarters of 3.444 billion yuan ($541.77 million).
Total production sank almost 2% from 357.41 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first nine months of 2014 to 350.82 million boe in the latest three quarters.
Crude output was down 2.41%, with domestic oil production sinking 4.34%
