Sistema head 'faces Bashneft charges'

Russian oil-to-telecom conglomerate Sistema has reportedly defended its acquisition of assets from compatriot oil company Bashneft after its chairman was placed under house arrest on money-laundering charges in connection with an earlier shares deal.
