The Oslo-listed player reported a profit before tax of Nkr174 million ($21.2 million), versus Nkr221 million a year earlier, after seeing operating income drop 32% year on year to Nkr719 million.
Solstad suffered from low utilisation in the quarter, mainly for its anchor-handlers and platform supply vessels, while it also has 13 vessels laid up out of its total operating fleet of 43 units that also includes subsea construction support vessels.
