Solstad Offshore has won a contract to work on the giant Inpex-led Ichthys liquefied natural gas project in north-western Australia.
US contractor McDermott International has handed the Norwegian company a charter deal for the light construction vessel Normand Reach to assist its own construction vessel at the project.
The Solstad unit will be involved in hook-up work for the floating production, storage and offloading unit, as well as subsea activities, pre-commissioning and survey scopes.
