Sona revealed Monday it had entered in a sale and purchase agreement with Stag owners Quadrant Energy and Santos to buy a 100% interest in production licence WA-15-L, which contains the Stag field, as well as pipeline licence WA-6-PL and associated assets.
Sona said the deal would be satisfied entirely by cash using internal funds raised from its initial public offering.
