London-listed Sound Energy has applied to move into the first complementary period of the Tendrara licence in Morocco following positive results from the first of two appraisal wells.
Sound confirmed on Monday the preliminary petrophysical analysis of logs from the first well confirmed the presence of a number of gas-bearing levels and a total net pay of 28 metres in the TAGI reservoir, which it said was above initial expectations.
