Hyundai reportedly posted a loss of 241.1 billion won (US$206.8 million); Samsung plunged into the red to the tune of 1.15 trillion won; while Daewoo recorded a massive 2.4 trillion won loss.
None of the losses were unexpected, as Samsung and Daewoo had previously warned the market of loss-making projects, while Hyundai's troubles first came to light last year.
The results were reportedly in line with analysts' expectations.
