The hull arrived on Thursday last week at Kiewit Offshore Services' yard in Ingleside, Texas, completing the roughly two-month journey from Samsung Heavy Industries' yard in South Korea.
It departed the Samsung yard on 12 June.
The hull was transported aboard Dockwise heavy transport vessel Treasure. Dockwise confirmed the ship had arrived.
Hess indicated on a conference call last month that the hull left Samsung's yard "on schedule", and that fabrication and precommissioning of the topsides continue "according to plan".
