Statoil goes with German wind

Statoil is beefing up its investments in renewable energy by acquiring a 50% stake in the Arkona wind farm off Germany to form a joint venture with E.ON, coinciding with a decision by the pair to move forward with the €1.2 billion ($1.35 billion) project.
