In an initial incident that occurred last autumn, a worker fell during scaffolding work on the Mariner B floating storage unit being built at Samsung Heavy Industries.
A further incident took place at Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineering in March this year when a worker also fell having stepped on an unsecured piece of scaffolding being used for construction of the utility module for the topsides of the Mariner A platform at the yard.
