Statoil projects on radar screen

A major cost-cutting drive by Statoil has taken its toll on work-starved contractors in Norway, but the success of the initiative could now pay dividends as the national oil company says it has 30 offshore projects at the planning stage that could trigger Nkr280 billion ($33.8 billion) in new investments.
