Well 6407/8-6 is being drilled in 282 metres of water by the semi-submersible Songa Trym in production licence 348, about four kilometres from the producing Hyme oilfield. It has a planned total depth of about 3205 metres.
The probe, and a planned side-track, is targeting oil and gas in the Jurassic Ile, Tilje and Are formations.
