The contracts cover the engineering, procurement and construction of an emergency pipeline repair system to support Chevron's operated pipelines and the pipeline for Inpex's Ichthys liquefied natural gas project.
The project covers the development of a process of repair, including both equipment and contingency procedures, for the pipelines which lie of Australia's north and north-west coasts.
Subsea 7 will design, fabricate and procure repair equipment as well as develop repair methodologies and procedures for the life of the assets.
