Sunpower, which is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, will deliver the systems and provide accompanying services to the project from 2013, the company said in an announcement.
The Jingbian Energy and Chemical Integrated Utilisation project, is run by China National Coal Group subsidiary Shaanxi Yanchang ChinaCoal Yulin Energy & Chemical Co, has also been classified as a UN programme to promote the development and deployment of clean coal technologies.
