The components were delivered Tuesday to Kvaerner's Verdal yard in Norway, where the jacket is under construction.

Kvaerner won contracts last year to construct the jackets for the drilling platform and the riser utilities for the four-platform development.
The riser jacket is due for delivery in 2017, while the drilling platform jacket, weighing in at 22,500 tonnes, will be delivered and installed at Johan Sverdrup in the spring of 2018.
