The company said that, from 1 July, Sembcorp Marine will be one brand focusing on four key capabilities - rigs and floaters, repairs and upgrades, offshore platforms, and specialised shipbuilding.
These are the capabilities of well-known subsidiaries Jurong Shipyard, PPL Shipyard, SMOE and Sembawang Shipyard.
A spokesperson for Sembcorp Marine said that, as part of the ongoing "transformation for growth", the company will progressively transition its entities to the Sembcorp Marine brand.
