Among the awards is an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract with an unnamed European major for pipeline replacement work in Qatar that marks the Singapore-based contractor’s first such deal in the Middle East.
It has already started the engineering phase of the project that is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2017.
Swiber has also recently won two further contracts in South-East Asia - one in Myanmar and the other in Vietnam.
