Technip confirmed Friday the consortium had been handed the FEED contract by Browse joint venture partner Shell for elements of the project which will take into account the composition of the gas, local weather conditions and factors specific to each of the three fields.
Technip also confirmed earlier reports the consortium had been awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract covering the three vessels which will be stationed at the offshore project.
